As for plot, I have an idea, but that would require a brief intro to the GenSouKai arc (no biggie, but it may be a spoiler...) and the other Shinigamis (and Muraki) may not be included. Then again, if we dismiss the whole time and location issue...

Haha...yes, time/location *would* be an issue. Cain's back in Victorian England, and the shinigami are in modern Japan...hmmm...

Oooh, Cain as a shinigami? I wouldn't want to be the one who was supposed to die but hadn't yet...especially if it meant facing Cain's wrath. O__o Haha...and I can imagine the whole budget issue. Enmacho never has enough money. (And with Tsuzuki's repair costs...)

Hahaha...that's such a cute idea though! (The second one) The thing is, Cain's daddy is still alive. (Oops...guess that wasn't clear in Jezebels "dying speach" in Kafka). And hey...Tsuzuki can speak a *littttttle* bit of English. T__T (If any of you have seen the TV series, it really isn't much...) Muraki has good English, and who knows about Hisoka.

XD If anyone is brave enough, go ahead and start the first part of the story. The plot can even...come along as it goes. T__T (Crisis is not brave enough by the way, so turn your eyes away from her)

Um.... it's not so much the YnM plot as the place GenSouKai itself. This probably sounds corny, but let's say Tsuzuki and Hisoka falls into a wormhole in GenSouKai, wouldn't that solve the whole time/location factor? The problem would then be explaining why they're in GenSouKai in the first place, why they are wormholes and... that's a major spoiler. ^^;

Risu-chan's idea is pretty good. And I... sort of popped up with another idea... ^^; Say Alexie's spirit had not gone to rest, and the english equivalent of EnMaCho had been unable to to bring him to trial after god knows how many years. So, frustrated, they ask for the help of a certain Shinigami duo because of whatever reasons. Then presume they cast a spell that would enable them to trek back through time until they finish the case. And of course, what better way to find a lost spirit then to find out about his family? But then there's the language problem... @_@
